2024: A WALK TO REMEMBER OUR FALLEN 5K
a partnership with Carry The Load & the PA Military Museum
On May 25, 2024, A Soldier's Hands, in collaboration with The PA Military Museum, joined forces with Carry the Load (CTL) to support the "A Walk to Remember" event in Boalsburg, PA. This partnership with CTL perfectly aligns with A Soldier’s Hands’ mission and offered a meaningful opportunity to pay tribute to our troops.
CTL's mission is dedicated to restoring the true essence of Memorial Day, providing an active means to honor our nation's heroes, including military personnel, veterans, first responders, and their families. At A.S.H., we are committed to shedding light on these heroic individuals, and we support CTL's cause.
The load that A.S.H. carries consists of those troops who often do not receive mail calls, and we honor Mark Edhegard, whose compassion led to recognizing their plight.

Reflecting on our journey, we could not have envisioned 15 years ago during Mark Edhegard's homecoming in Ft. Dix, NJ, that A Soldier's Hands would not only come into existence but also thrive. Hence, we are incredibly honored and grateful for our collaboration with Carry The Load and the national platform they provide. We hope for future partnerships with CTL and the sponsorship of events like this.
So, we ask, "Who are you carrying?"
