Participating as a volunteer with A Soldier’s Hands offers two distinct opportunities. We are always in need of hands-on volunteers for our Packaging Parties+, and for those interested in a different type of service due to our space constraints, we also provide Mail Call for All. We facilitate kids of all ages, teens, and adults of diverse backgrounds for our volunteer opportunities. For more details on how you can get engaged in each option, please explore further below.
PACKAGING PARTIES+
Our Packaging Parties are exactly what they sound like. They're lively gatherings where a mix of volunteers unite to put together care packages destined for overseas service members. This is your opportunity to connect with new faces and infuse your unique personal touch into these heartwarming gifts for our troops.
The plus (+) indicates that we have an additional range of volunteering opportunities, and indeed, we do! Occasionally, we participate in festivals and events, where we engage with the community. If you enjoy sharing stories or want to volunteer in this capacity, we welcome your involvement! Join us in sharing our story and facilitating donations.
MAIL CALL FOR ALL

The letters sent to our troops play an important role in adding a personal touch to our care packages. Service members treasure these heartfelt notes as a reminder that there are people who genuinely value their dedication. Writing letters to our heroes is a simple and enjoyable way to actively contribute. To facilitate the process, we have included a letter writing guide to inspire your letters. We also included an informative fact sheet about our organization to help you and your volunteers become more acquainted with who we are.
