VOLUNTEER TESTIMONIAL
Blessing & Love from Peggy
"There are so many groups and people that ask for donations throughout each year, but for many years now I have only supported three, maybe four on a continual basis. ASH is very close to my heart for so many reasons, let me just tell you a couple.
1. Trish Shallenberger, she is a beautiful woman, sister of Christ, who by a simple conversation on a plane many years ago, was led to help some of our service men and women who are serving under harsh conditions. God spoke to her and God pushed me to help her in some small way that I could.
I have helped her physically with preparing boxes for shipping and what fun it is to gather a group of friends and laugh and pack and pray and ship these packages to some of our troops. It is always a great experience.
2. The next reason is to honor my late husband. He was in the Navy, and he loved his country and in his memory, ASH is the perfect way for me to support service men and women.
I feel proud and honored to do this and am pleased to have such a special friend as Trish. May God continue to bless her and the amazing work she does for our country."
