2024: A Walk To Remember Our Fallen 5K -
A partnership with Carry The Load & the PA Military Museum

On May 25, 2024, A Soldier’s Hands proudly partnered with Carry The Load (CTL) and The PA Military Museum for “A Walk to Remember” in Boalsburg, PA.

This meaningful collaboration aligned perfectly with our mission—to honor, support, and uplift our troops—and gave us the opportunity to stand alongside CTL in their powerful effort to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day.

Carry The Load’s mission is to provide an active way to honor our nation's heroes—military service members, veterans, first responders, and their families. At A Soldier’s Hands, we’re dedicated to shining a light on these brave individuals.

We walk for them. We carry them.

And we remember Mark Edhegard, whose compassion brought attention to those troops too often overlooked.

When we welcomed Mark home 15 years ago at Ft. Dix, NJ, we could never have imagined what A Soldier’s Hands would grow to become. Today, thanks to the unwavering support of our community and partners like Carry The Load, our mission thrives.

We’re incredibly grateful for the national platform CTL provides—and we look forward to future collaborations that continue to honor our heroes.
